Passive Aggressives Anonymous has been described as chamber pop or "croon-rock". Initially conceived in 2012 as a solo venture by John Valenti (vocals, guitar), it later included Evan Wormwood (drums), Reilly Taylor-Cook (upright bass), John Delmonico (cello), Chris Coon (keys), and Elena Ryck (violin). In 2018, Valenti moved to the SF Bay Area where he continues to play as PAA.
